This is an older home so if you're looking for modern, this may not be for you. For us, it was perfect. The showers were hot, the beds were so comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. AND THE VIEWS!!! The view from the back porch was absolutely stunning. The grounds were beautiful with some of the most unique flowers and plants we had seen. Some really cool trails through the Redwoods and a few visitor centers were a short drive away. There are not many restaurant options close, but other than a nearby pizza place, other restaurants are about 20-30 minutes away. And please note, the VRBO listing says "Humboldt Lagoon State Park is a 1 minute walk," this is not the case. Nothing is walking distance from this home. I think that is a VRBO mistake and not the host. I would reach out to the host if you have any questions about what is near or around. Thank you for sharing your home with us! My family of 6 had a blast!!
